Seal materials range from Fluorocarbon rubber and PTFE to advanced elastomers made of food-grade materials. SKF Ecosil, SKF Ecorubber range, SKF Ecoflon range are just some of the SKF proprietary materials that resist hot water, steam and typical cleaning agents.

High Speed PTFE Rotary Shaft Seals

Our range of cost-effective quality PTFE Shaft Seals that are a reliable sealing solution for high pressure, high speed rotating shafts. Able to withstand extreme temperatures (-90°C up to +260°C) they can be used in multiple applications and are an ideal alternative to Mechanical Seals and Braided / Gland Packings.

Under working conditions, the PTFE Shaft Seals outperform Radial Shaft Seals as their lips are made from modified PTFE rather than the traditional elastomer materials. This helps keep the abrasive and aggressive media sealed.
